Some sad news for cricket fans in America. The APL is most likely to be cancelled this year. The league has sent its proposals to the USA Cricket Association in a bid to gain official recognition. They have not received a response yet, which puts the tournament in doubt for this year.
The USA Cricket Association meanwhile has its own plays for a T20 league. Its turning out to be a battle like the one between the IPL VS ICL.
Lets hope this dispute is resolved soon.
The proposed American Premier League later this year can be ruled out. That tournament will not now take place. It has not received official sanctioning.
