Indian paceman Zaheer Khan has been ruled out of the test series against India due to a shoulder injury. Zaheer last played in the Asia Cup last month, but it is not known when or how is suffered the injury.Zaheer Khan is the most senior fast bowler in the side and his presence will surely be missed. 20 year old Abhimanyu Mithun has been named as his replacement.
The Indian bowlers havent been upto the mark off late. In Zaheers absense, a lot of responsibility will lie on the shoulders of Ishant Sharma and Sreesanth.
The first test starts on the 18th of June in Galle.
