Phillip Hughes, Peter George and Josh Hazlewood have been named in Australias 15 man test sqaud to tour India next month.
Hughes makes his comeback after a shoulder injury that kept him out of the game for the past few months. Meanwhile batsman Usman Khawaja, off-spinner Steve O'Keefe and fast bowler Clint McKay who were part of the squad that toured England, were dropped.
Marcus North still holds his place despite poor showing with the bat in the two matchs against Pakistan.
The test series begins in Mohali on the first of October.
